Owned by local Natasha Nowakowski, Matakana Sauna & Spa was created from a love of adventure, recovery, and the outdoors.

When she’s not surfing, foiling, trail running, or exploring the coast, Natasha can usually be found unwinding in the sauna, hot tub, or ice bath herself. What began as a personal backyard retreat has evolved into a private wellness space designed to help others slow down, recharge, and reconnect.
